The french duo NoSax NoClar (Julien Stella, clarinet and Bastien Weeger, saxophone)
is a reminder of the mystery and cherished moments that travelling harbours.
Their music evokes captivating stories that underscore Bastien Weeger and Julien Stella’s rich musical culture without borders.
Kahmsïn, their first album, was inspired by Celtic (Ireland), Berber or Balkan music traditions to compose freely, with their own material. Rëd Sisters, their second album, continues to reclaim global roots, Armenia too.
Their third album will be released in November 2023 on Yolk Records Label.
Winners of the 2019 AJC’s program « Jazz Migration », they have performed over 100 concerts since then, such as Jazz sous les pommiers Festival, Jazzdor Festival, Music Meeting Festival, Budapest Music Center, Les RDV de l’Erdre, L’Astrada Marciac, Una Stricia Feconda Festival, Paris Jazz Festival, Jazz à Vienne, D’Jazz Nevers Festival …
NoSax NoClar will be available in 2023 & 2024 for worldwide tours.
