As a leader or as sideman, guitarist Joachim Schönecker has worked  with many renown musicians like Patti Austin, Paquito D ́Rivera, Peter  Erskine, Rich Perry, Jan Delay, Don Braden,  John Riley, Jeff Hamilton, "Toots" Thielemans, Dick Oatts, John Marshall,  Michael Abene, Peter Weniger, Richie Beirach, the WDR Bigband and the  WDR Sinfony Orchestra.

He has been teaching jazz guitar and ensemble classes at the 'Hochschule für Musik und Theater' in Leipzig, at the 'Hochschule für Musik Saar' in Saarbrücken and the 'Hochschule für Musik ‘Theater und Medien Hannover' and the 'Institut für Musik der Hochschule Osnabrück'. Since 2016 he is teaching at the 'Maastricht Conservatory '.

Martin Sasse
Martin Sasse

In the course of his stage career Martin Sasse has worked with nearly all legends in the international jazz scene and Sasse himself ranks as one of the most outstanding jazz pianists in Europe. He has released ten albums under his own name and plays as a guest on countless recordings and at concerts worldwide. Jazz legends have influenced him, including Al Foster, Jimmy Cobb, Steve Grossman and Lee Konitz. For Billy Cobham and Hiram Bullock he switched from the piano to the hammond B3 and presents himself as an outstanding organist.
His regular partners include Philip Catherine, Peter Bernstein, Dennis Mackrel and Scott Hamilton.

He teaches at the Institute for Media and Music at the Robert Schumann University Düsseldorf.

In the course of his musical career the double bassist and electric bassist Markus Schieferdecker has worked with musicians like Albert Mangelsdorff, Bill Stewart, Kevin Hays, Danny Grissett, Vincent Herring, Dusko Goykovich, Christof Lauer, Fritz Pauer, Maria Schneider, Bob Degen, Michel Pilz, Peter Perfido, Jonas Burgwinkel, Valentin Garvie, Heinz Sauer, Jochen Rückert, Thomas Rückert, Martin Sasse, Julian Wasserfuhr, Albrecht Maurer, Mat Maneri, Antonio Farao, Christian Lillinger, Thilo Wolf, Bert Joris, Jesse Milliner, Reiner Witzel, Karolina Strassmayer, Johann Hörlen, Rudi Mahall, Bob Malach, Clark Terry, Lee Konitz and many other great musicians and artists together.
Since 2020, Markus Schieferdecker has been a professor for jazz double bass and electric bass at the University of the Arts in Bremen.
