Can you tell us more about your professional background?
I started my professional adventure with jazz a bit “by accident” by collaborating with JazzPress magazine. That was about 10 years ago. And step by step it expanded to cooperation with other magazines, websites, radio stations, showcases, festivals, agencies etc. Details of my current activities can be found in my bio.
What’s your main field of work today?
Running my web site – Donos kulturalny and cooperation with Jazzkultura radio station where I present weekly selection of new releases called „What’s squeez in jazz”
How do you see the state of jazz in your country?
In my opinion polish jazz scene is one of the strongest in jazz world. We have more than 200 releases each year. Polish musicians record for the most prestigious labels and collaborate with top artists. We have wide range of jazz events where you can listen to big stars as well as rising stars of the jazz scene.
In which direction is it going?
The biggest advantage of the Polish jazz scene is the diversity of its music. And I hope I will stay not one-sided.
