Adam Blawicki is the saxophonist of the band SEDNO.
The band is based in Wrocław, Poland. Electronic sounds combined with live instruments. Unique energy built through trance repetitions, metric loops, bold combinations of various styles and materials.
How did you learn to play? Where did you study?
We learned at the Academy of Music in Wroclaw.
Who are the musicians that influenced you the most?
John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Tigran Hamasyan, Jojo Meyer.
What are your thoughts and opinions on today’s jazz scene?
Music is heading in different directions, it is developing very much in terms of combining acoustic sounds with electronics, which is an interesting trend and gives many new possibilities.
Can you tell us more about your experience with the 7 Virtual Jazz Club?
I don’t have experience with 7 Virtual Jazz Club yet.
What are your upcoming projects?
We are playing several concerts promoting our debut EP.
